Marty Pressley - Turner, RN-BC, MS, LCCE
Speaker & Facilitator
Martha is as clever as she is beautiful! She has been an RN for 43 years and is a graduate of the University of Omaha College of Nursing (GO BIG RED). She has worked OB in both a high-risk tertiary hospital and a 16-bed hospital in the AF. After becoming a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator in 1979, she had her own Lamaze business for seven years.
Martha was also a co-coordinator for Lamaze International for Nebraska and mentored 12 candidates through their certification process. During her military active duty service, she received her MS in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas (GO HAWGS) and her 'MRS' to an AF Officer. After her husband retired, Martha went into the AR Reserves and worked for several hospices.
She started working as a Case Manager at BCBSSC in 1994 and it has been more rewarding and personal then both OB and hospice! She has led numerous in services to both her OB and case management peers. She retired as a Lt Colonel from the Air Force Reserve in 2008.
Martha became certified as an RN Case Manager through ANCC in 2004 and her greatest professional achievement is being appointed to ANCC's Content Expert Panel for Case Management with 8 other wonderful CMs from around the country. Her panel wrote the 2015 certification test, but is sworn to secrecy!
JEFFREY CROFOOT, MSN RN, CMCN ACM-RN

Jeffrey Crofoot MSN RN CMCN ACM-RN is the Manager of Case Management Services for Cook County Health Systems; Emergency Department & Transfer Center Programs in Chicago, IL.
Mr. Crofoot has held roles in both acute care and managed care case management leadership throughout his 30+ year nursing career. He has focused on readmissions, creation and refinement of programs to improve outcomes, and departmental reorganization/restructure to improve outcomes and increase staff satisfaction.
His clinical specialties include Med/Surg, ICU and Home Health. He received his diploma in Nursing from Evangelical School of Nursing in Oak Lawn, IL; BSN at Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, FL, MSN from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ. He is active with CMSA Chicago, currently serving as Secretary.
Deanna Cooper Gillingham, RN, CCM
Speaker & Facilitator
Deanna Cooper Gillingham is an RN, Certified Case Manager, Author, and Entrepreneur. She has extensive clinical and case management experience including complex case management, transplant case management, Med Surg, Dialysis, Oncology, Hospice, SICU, LDRP, L&D, and Ambulatory Care. She has also worked as a travel nurse, agency nurse, and patient service representative.
Deanna is the author of CCM Certification Made Easy: Your Guide to Passing the Certified Case Manager Exam and Foundations of Case Management. She is the developer of several courses for nurses and case managers and is a digital journalist.
Deanna is passionate about developing the case management workforce. As co-founder and CEO of the Case Management Institute, she is dedicated to decreasing barriers to entry into this profession and developing case managers into leaders. She is also the leader and co-founder of the Case Managers Community, a Facebook group of over 12,000 committed case managers.
She is currently living her dream life in Puerto Aventuras, Mexico. From there she is writing her next book or course from her patio overlooking the beautiful Caribbean Sea. Unless that is, she is traveling the world with her friends and family.
Ellen Fink-Samnick, MSW, ACSW, LCSW, CCM, CRP

An industry thought leader for over 30 years, Ellen is known and respected as “The Ethical Compass of Professional Case Management”. She is a popular presenter with hundreds of offerings to her credit and author of close to 100 publications. Ellen has received awards and global recognition for her innovative practice, including the 2017 Distinguished Master Social Work Alumni from the University of Buffalo School of Social Work, and 2016 National Award of Service Excellence for the Case Management Society of America.
Ellen is the co-author of the book COLLABORATE® for Professional Case Management: A Universal Competency-Based Paradigm, 1st ed. She has contributed to CMSA’ s Career and Knowledge Pathways®, plus the Commission for Case Manager Certification’s Case Management Body of Knowledge®, among many others. Ellen also served on the committee that revised CMSA’ s 2016 Standards of Practice.
Ellen's passion is evident across roles as a professional trainer, industry consultant, educator, social media moderator, accreditation specialist, clinical social work supervisor and professional mentor to the case management community. Her contributions to professional case management, ethics, and clinical social work transverse professional associations and credentialing organizations, including roles as subject matter expert, exam item writer, and leadership positions. She is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board for the Professional Case Management Journal and the moderator of Ellen’s Ethical Lens on LinkedIn.
Ellen serves as a Director on the 2017-2018 CMSA National Board. She has been a commissioner for CCMC, member of their Executive Committee, and Chair of their Ethics and Professional Conduct Committee. Ellen is a vibrant professional voice.
Colleen Morley, DNP, RN, CMCN ACM-RN

Colleen Morley DNP, RN, CMCN ACM-RN is the Director of Case Management Services for West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, IL and Westlake Hospital in Melrose Park, IL under the Tenet System.

Colleen has over 19 years of nursing experience. Her clinical specialties include Med/Surg, Oncology and Pediatric Nursing. Her passions in nursing include promotion of professional development and continuing education and studying the readmission issue to develop solution programs.
She is active with CMSA Chicago; currently serving as President Elect for 2017-19 and has been on several national level committees for CMSA (Education, Awards), ACMA (Membership) and AAMCN (Education and Membership). Additionally, she currently holds the position of Director on the ANA-IL Board of Directors, serving as Legislative Committee Chair and PAC Trustee. She was named Nurse Leader of the Year in 2010 by the American Association of Managed Care Nurses for her contributions in significantly updating and revising the CMCN certification curriculum in 2009-10. Colleen has been a frequent contributor to AAMCN’s Nurses’ Notes; has been published in Case in Point’s Caseload Handbook edition and most recently in American Nurse Today in June 2017 on Communication and Collaboration Across the Interdisciplinary Team.
She has presented posters at CMSA National and teaching sessions at national level care coordination events and has recently launched her own healthcare education consulting firm, Altra Healthcare Consulting, specializing in writing and presenting continuing education programming for RNs and SWs. She received her ADN at South Suburban College in South Holland, IL; BSN at Jacksonville University in
Jacksonville, FL, MSN from Norwich University in Northfield, VT and has recently completed her Doctorate in Nursing Practice at Chamberlain University in 2018.
